Richmond Place is a residential, deed-restricted community of moderately priced homes, with two associated apartment/condominium complexes. Our community is located in the fast-growing North-east Tampa/Hillsborough County area near the Pasco County line. The area is popularly referred to as "New Tampa" and is adjacent to the communities of Tampa Palms and Wesley Chapel. We're conveniently located within a short driving distance to area Shopping Centers, major and locally-owned Restaurants, Grocery Stores and Markets, as well as major Medical, Research and Educational institutions.

 

The development of Richmond Place was initiated in the late 1990s and designed so that the majority of Homes are located overlooking a pond or preservation areas home to a wide range of Florida Wildlife (deer, tropical birds and the occasional gator).

The Residents of our community are a culturally diverse group of people representing all the geographical areas of the United States as well as many different parts of the world. The professions, ages and interests of the residents are as diverse as their cultures. Richmond Place is also a part of the Tampa Palms Open Space & Transportation (TPOST) Community Development District (CDD). TPOST CDD is an independent special purpose unit of Hillsborough County established to create and maintain a desirable infrastructure for a District consisting of three developing New Tampa neighborhoods. These neighborhoods are referred to as Area 3, Area 6 (Richmond Place) and Area 7 (West Meadows).
