As you probably know the Hearing before the Tampa City Council on the Highwoods Preserve Rezoning was continued from last month to January 12, 2012, same time, same place (6PM, City Hall).  We really need to turn out to win this and need your participation.  The consequences for losing will be felt by each and every resident of Richmond Place daily – so don’t let it happen because you didn’t participate.

Your Association has gone and is going to extraordinary lengths to make it easy for homeowners to participate and be in attendance at the Thursday, January 12, 2012 City Council Hearing.  All you have to do is sign-up in advance for a bus seat and show up at 5:00PM at the West Meadows Community Club parking lot and hop on a bus with friends and neighbors.  Buses depart at 5 sharp so be there or be square!  You will be returned by bus to the same spot at the conclusion of the Hearing. TO RESERVE A SEAT ON A BUS, EMAIL RICHMOND PLACE AT:  poa@richmondplacetampa.com or call 813-434-1480.  Please provide your Name, Email , Contact Number and the number of Seats you would like to reserve.  If you previoulsy made a reservation you do not need to contacts Us, we will have your Seat wiating for you!

 

 

If you choose to drive, the Hearing will be in the City of Tampa, City Council Chambers,  3rd Floor, Old City Hall, 315 East Kennedy Blvd. downtown.  Parking may be difficult.  Do not confuse the City Council Chambers with the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners Hearing Room – completely different animals. 

 

You will be briefed on procedure at the Hearing while enroute to the Hearing.  Richmond Place is a beautiful development.  Let’s pull together to keep it that way.  We need to hear from you NOW to plan for buses.   This investment of a few hours of your time will pay you exponential future dividends.  Let’s start 2012 out with a bang and get this accomplished!   Please call in your bus reservation early so that we do not have to wait to the last minute to know how many buses to order.
