New Tampa residents being placed on precautionary boil water notice

The city recommends that residents in the areas east of I-275, west of Morris Bridge Road, north of Dona Michelle Drive and south of County Line Road boil water being used for drinking and food preparation.
Residents are also encouraged to flush all exterior spigots first, then run interior faucets to clear the interior system.
Once water quality testing is finished, the precautionary boil notice will be lifted.
