Hurricane Irma - Be Prepared & Stay Safe
Posted on Sep 5th, 2017
As you’re aware the National Hurricane Center is currently tracking Hurricane Irma - currently a Category 5 with sustained wind of 175 mph as of 8AM EST 09/05/2017. As the exact path of the Hurricane is not know, it's never to late to be prepared.
Please be sure to take precautions to protect all Persons and Property.
This is a good time to survey your Property for any small or loose items that may become airborne in high winds. Also, please ensure you remember any other items that are susceptible to high winds like Basketball Hoops, Children's Toys, small & medium Planters, etc. – these items should be secured until any weather threat has passed. Items left out may become airborne and cause damage or, more seriously, bodily injury.
Remember, it’s not that the wind is blowing but WHAT the wind is blowing.
Please stay tuned to the Local News Channels and the National Hurricane Center for information about Hurricane Irma and its impact to Florida and Tampa Bay.
Stay Safe!
